Information for Keyword Meta Tag
The Keyword Meta Tag is a very important meta tag to enter on each of the pages on your website. This tag is no longer a key component to your search ranking on most major search engines, but it is used in a limited capacity by some web directories and search engines. The best practice would be to have a different set of keywords and phrases for each page and have those keywords and phrases that compliment the content of that page. If you don't feel that you can manage changing the keywords, you could create a script to randomly select keywords or use the same keyword on every page.
The keyword meta tag should be limited to around 500 characters and you should not repeat exact keywords and phrases. Each keyword or phrase should be separated by a comma. I have written a small article about selecting and searching for popular keywords. You can view the article here>>.
